I have been with this financial institution for over 20 years but recently drained my accounts and moved my banking elsewhere. Whoever is the owner of this bank really needs to re-evaluate who they have representing them. Barb the CEO should really consider retiring, she's rude and very unprofessional and has been ever since I joined this credit union. Needless to say I was surprised she was still there let alone the CEO.
I went there on Saturday to close my accounts (thanks to Barb and her need to make people feel horrible) and was waited on but yet another rude employee Melissa. No hello, good morning nothing acted like she didn't want to be there and couldn't finish my transaction soon enough. All I can say is I'm very relieved I decided to close my accounts with this financial institution the last thing I will do is support a business with rude, condescending people when this world has enough problems.
End of rant. Good luck MCFCU!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nancy S.Livonia, MI07May 2, 2020
The employees are all really nice! Kathy and Dillan are the two I've had the most dealings with and they have always gone that extra mile!
I've been a member since they were on Grand River/Leisure in Detroit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jackie H.Seattle, WA557354201Dec 29, 2008First to Review
I got my first checking account when I was in high school here. My family and some extended family did their banking here which is how I came to be a member here. It's located on 6 mile and once you see Pick-a-Bone resteraunt, you want to turn right into the driveway before Pick-a-Bone (no joke, that's the name of the place if it's still even there...)
The staff is very friendly and chatty which is always nice and helped me out when I needed it. The lines were never long as they had 3 tellers on average working. This place has enough parking for the size of the place and outside had an ATM machine.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sam W.Garden City, MI6217Sep 1, 2016
I refuse to give them any stars, but this website makes you give at least one star to be able to post. The tellers are not very friendly and confrontational. The straw for me was the following; I am treasurer of a local non-profit and went there to make a deposit for one of our fundraisers and had $7.87 in change and the teller told me he could not take the change. He said it was to close to closing and he did not want to roll it. I was speechless. I am currently looking for a new bank for my group. I don't feel like they will stay in business for much longer. It will be sad to see the employees lose there jobs.

Michigan Columbus Federal Credit Union has garbage customer service. After attempting to change my address multiple times, which their ridiculously rude employees found impossible, they began charging me a returned mail fee. The craziest part was that my old address what my parents house, where I was still receiving items from them at. They charge overdraft fees when your account isn't even below its balance based on requested authorizations. The bottom line is they are more interested in squeezing every possible cent out of their customers rather than keeping their customers. If you're considering them as a bank...I'd look somewhere else.
